11. Information We Collect

This Privacy Policy describes how ParkarSpot ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Vishal Jadon, collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal information of users on the ParkarSpot mobile application and website (parkarspot.com). We collect information necessary to provide seamless parking booking and listing services:

  • Account Details: Name, mobile phone number, email address, password, and vehicle registration details (number, vehicle type).
  • Device & Technical Information: IP address, device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens.
  • Geolocation Data: Precise or approximate GPS location data when permitted by your device, used to find nearby parking spots, pin host locations, and provide turn-by-turn navigation.

22. App Permissions Requested

  • Location Permission: To discover nearby parking spots, display map location pins, and verify arrival.
  • Storage & Camera Permission: To allow Hosts to upload photos of their parking spaces and identity verification documents.
  • Notification Permission: To send real-time notifications for booking requests, host approvals, payment timers, and cancellation updates.

33. How We Use Your Information

  • To search, reserve, confirm, and process payments for parking spaces.
  • To send essential booking notifications, receipts, and customer service assistance.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent bookings or unauthorized platform access.

44. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Data is shared strictly with trusted operational service providers:

  • Payment Gateways: Payments and payouts are processed securely via Razorpay. ParkarSpot does not store credit/debit card numbers or net banking passwords.
  • Infrastructure & Analytics: Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics for app stability and performance analytics.
  • Between Users: Customer name, phone number, and vehicle details are shared with the assigned Parking Host upon booking confirmation to facilitate space access.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by applicable Indian laws, subpoenas, or official government requests.

55. Data Retention & Account / Data Deletion

We retain user information for as long as your account remains active or as required to comply with financial accounting and legal obligations.

How to Delete Your Account & Associated Data: You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. Initiate account deletion in App Settings > Account > Delete Account, or submit a request to support@parkarspot.com. Account deletion will be processed within 30 days, permanently purging your profile, vehicle details, and saved listings.

66. Security Safeguards & Children's Privacy

We enforce administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud infrastructure, to safeguard user information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Children's Privacy: ParkarSpot services are restricted to users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be announced in-app or posted on this page with an updated revision date.
